Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Alright. I'm fed up with people complaining. Here is my two cents, ignore as you please.

Stop freaking the fuck out that Disney bought Lucasfilm. It's a separate dept. from the rest of Disney, all Disney really gets is most of the profits. That's pretty much how it works with Touchstone Pictures, which Disney has owned for years, and Pixar. Deal with it. In fact, Disney is not afraid to go outside its boundaries (you know, a R rating) so long as "Disney" isn't attached. Marvel, Lucasfilm, and Touchstone are perfectly fine. Get over it. It's not the end of the world.

NOW people are panicking that Disney could buy Hasbro (ie, My Little Pony). Which spends it's entire time pandering to little kids. Which Disney is well-known for. I don't see how this could change anything. Especially considering what I just said about the different departments.

You'd think Disney was some god-awful amalgamation of Mitt Romney, a particularly abusive slaveholder, and Satan with how these people are going on and on about how evil Disney is.

In other words... get over yourselves.

And one more thing: DID NONE OF YOU MORONS FREAKING OUT EVER REALISE THAT DISNEY ALREADY OWNED PART OF LUCASFILM?! Seriously! Go to Disneyland. There's an entire part of the park dedicated to Star Wars.

Eh, Disney is both good and bad at times. I think they're on the road to recovery. Epic Mickey was a step in the right direction, and Wreck-It Ralph was a phenomenal movie (SPOILERS!).

As long as they leave Aladdin alone, I'm pretty OK by now. That movie has got enough shit from Disney in the past 20 years, and they have the gall to almost never include Jasmine in the princess merch unless it's at a legit Disney store. Two sequels, a god-awful TV show, and some little stories for Jasmine.

Yeah, Disney isn't the best with sequels, but look at the Toy Story trilogy. Three beautiful stories. That was done by Pixar, which Disney owns. Brave was a stunning film, though they seemed to miss how natural curls work... I'd know, I have them, and they used to be as long as her's.

Disney's not perfect, no, but I think it's more good than bad. And I don't think it will interfere with Lucasfilm, and if it does, it won't be a helluva lot.
