I've been away for a while. Mostly, writing. Haven't been art-ing much. I thought I just made a journal entry, but it didn't post, so have another, I suppose. Kinda wanna get that other one off my front page.
Netflix
So, uh, I learned months ago that there was to be a Netflix series based on this little series of books from my childhood, A Series of Unfortunate Events, which I followed about as much as I did Harry Potter (but without the obsessive re-reads), and on YouTube I got a commercial about it. And it apparently starts on the 13th (because honestly, I would expect nothing less BUT for the series to come out on Friday the 13th). It looks rather faithful to the series, apart from a few details (like Mr Poe is not short, rotund, and spectacles, but played by a tall, slender fellow, but his appearance hardly matters, it's just meant to show him a fuddy

I died to the second battle with Hau, by virtue of my entire team (of two) being weak to Electric-type moves and Hau having a Pichu. So I nearly wiped on a Pichu. I took it out, then my Pikipek was killed by Litten in one hit.
I think Electric is gonna be my arch foe for a long time yet. *sigh*
So I'm gonna start it over. These are the rules I'm doing, I think:
1. The three standards are in order (first thing per route, fainted=/dead, nicknames)
2. Dupes and Shiny clauses are in effect
3. I cannot catch Pokemon I see on the field, such as the Wimpod on Route 8. This extends to things that are in shaking grass/trees/bushes, dirt clouds, b

Seriously though, Spark reminds me strongly of Owain from Fire Emblem. Down to the fact that nobody takes him seriously except a few people.
